Luca Braccini joined BIG in 2020 as an Architect and was promoted to Associate in 2024. In the last 6 years Luca has been part of several international winning competitions including masterplaning, hospitality, civic and mixed-use schemes. At BIG he has been deeply involved in the iconic Abu-Dhabi Saadiyat Cultural District masterplan and anchor assets development. Prior to joining BIG, Luca worked in Rotterdam at Barcode Architects and also gained experience in Italy in the HORECA sector, designing several flagship stores in Italy, USA and Middle East for one of the most established Italian coffee roasters. Luca has received his Master of Architecture and Building Engineering from the University of Bologna, Italy, where he served also as a teaching assistant.
