Torunn was born in Norway in 1966. She graduated from the Oslo School of Architecture and Design in 1992 and joined Jensen & Skodvin Architects in 1995 after a period of private practice and employment at various offices since 1992. In 2011, she became a partner at Jensen & Skodvin. In her practice, she works with the projects from the development of an idea to finished building in various projects like private housing, public buildings, landscape and local development. Since 2010, for some periods, she has been at the Oslo School of Architecture and design as a tutor and as a part-time associate professor.
