Paola Antonelli

Paola Antonelli is Senior Curator in the Department of Architecture and Design at the Museum of Modern Art and the founding director of the museum’s Research and Development sector. Trained as an architect at Politecnico di Milano, her research explores design in all its forms—from architecture to video games—investigating its relationships with technology, science, culture, and society. Through exhibitions, publications, and curatorial practice, she promotes a vision of design as a tool capable of shaping contemporary dynamics and improving quality of life. She has curated internationally significant exhibitions, including the XXII Triennale di Milano Broken Nature, and regularly participates in global conferences such as TED and the World Economic Forum. Her work has been internationally recognized through numerous awards and prominent roles in the field of design.
